Ann-Cathrine Jungar

Ann-Cathrine Jungar is a political scientist and research leader at CBEES. She is responsible for the theme "The Social Landscapes of the Political" together with Apostolis Papakostas.

Jungar holds a Ph.D from the Department of political science at Uppsala university and has a position as a Senior Lecturer at the Södertörn University College.

Her research is on democracy and forms of democratic government. She has studied political institutions such as national parliaments, governments and referenda in a comparative perspective and how european integration affects the political systems of the member states.
